Two popular social networking sites are LinkedIn and Facebook. While both are designed to connect people online, the two sites represent different types of connections with very different options and features.




  1. facebook is used to connect with your friend,family and realtives while linkedin is used for professional work                                                                                                             
  2.   facebook has 2.41 billion monthly users while linkedin has only 250 millions monthly active users                                                                                                                                                
  3.   LinkedIn is designed more for business and professional networking and offers a profile and options to network in a business sense. Facebook, on the other hand is designed more to connect family and friends. When you want to know where an old colleague is working now, you use LinkedIn. When you want to find out if that same colleague is married and if they have kids, you use Face                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     
  4. facebook is used for fun ,enterainment while linkedin is used for professional work.                                                                                                                                                                                  
  5. Now that Facebook is a public company, it’s very natural to compare Facebook to other social networking companies like LinkedIn. While they both appear tobe similar businesses, in reality they are very different.
